Samba Laranja is the Syracuse University Brazilian Ensemble and is led by Dr. Elisa Macedo Dekaney and Joshua Dekaney. The group has been going strong since 2001 and started with 5 members. Samba Laranja is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from various areas of study at Syracuse University and has performed for over 7,000 central New York public school students throughout the Syracuse area.
