Hi dear friends!

I was made in Taiwan (don't ask me how, ask my parents). I grew up in Taiwan and went to school. We had lots of fun in primary school. I went to "music experimental class, which only had 5 boys and 30 girls. You know, the never ending war between young girls and boys.

My "major" during this time was violin and the second major was piano. It was actually hard time, because we had always semester final exams (could you image, for kids about 10 years old?), needed to play the instruments public by memory. Well, I learned much during this time!

After my primary school, my sister (who majored in piano in Rutgers University, NJ) made decision for me: you shouldn't take music as profession, it is very very hard outside. My piano professor disappeared during my study, you know where did he go? He changed his profession and begins to study computer science.

This is such a big impact for me, but it gives me the reason to think about it: why? Even you are good enough, but there are still always people better than you!!

so, no more professional musician, but I still play violin and piano, even trompet and e-bass. OK, being realstic, I decided to study economics. It is said, Economics can making the world better!

After I finished my BA in economics, I decided to see what is the difference between Taiwan and the rest of the world! Went to Germany, everything is of couse different. But actually only the appearance, the human behaviors are everywhere the same.

After my master thesis, I didn't think I have already understood the economy, so I made a decision, to learn more, so I took the doctroal programm. Nice and hard time to study more. You have to build your own opinion.

六歲開始學小提琴，七歲開始跟大姊學鋼琴。大姊可是嚴的出名，所以，從小就天天要練琴。回頭想想，當時雖然很討厭練琴，現在卻受到許多好處。

國小念台中光復小學音樂班，很快樂的時光。班上只有五位男生：昭佺(小提琴)，錫隆(小提琴)，銘峰(小提琴)，君恆(中提琴)。到現在雖然人在德國，卻都還有聯絡。

我大學則改行經濟學(雖然我大學聯考成績足夠上當時的國立藝術學院，還是放棄)。大姊雖然練很勤鋼琴，也拿到美國名校鋼琴碩士，卻一在告誡：連我大學的鋼琴教授都教到一半改行學電腦，可見學音樂是很難出頭的。這個時候我也開始思考，為什麼學音樂是很難出頭？

東吳四年是飛逝又讓人難忘的人生片段。同學間感情都相當好，易臻，裕弘，子佑，玫珍，大俠，小烏龜，敏然‧‧‧想起來都很愉快。

大學畢業後再工商時報當記者。記的第一個月就被派去訪問當時是北市市議員的謝長廷。在報社也是段很愉快的時光。國際祖主任中原(直屬長官)很有分析能力，文章常一針見血。
